Not much news to report. I have not heard from Leah whether we are required to complete the parent training for our home study or not. However, I have gone ahead and completed two courses (1 - Chinese Adoption Process, 2 - Grief and Loss).
In the mean time, I have started my Chinese/Mandarin lessons. I have the lessons on my ipod and I try to listen to them on my drive to work. Through a week of listening to lesson 1, I think I am ready to move on to lesson 2. So far I know how to speak the following, but I am not very fast at saying it.
Excuse me. Please let me ask. Can you speak English? Yes. Can you speak Mandarin? I cannot speak Mandarin. I can speak English. I can speak a little Mandarin. I am an American person.
