Ready for Home Study

I had begun to think this day would never come, but AGAPE has recieved all our clearances. So we are ready to start the home study.

Leah has been assigned as our social worker. I spoke with her on the phone today. We will have 4 interviews. Two interviews with Kevin and I together and two interviews with us individually. At least one of the interviews has to be in our home. Her goal is to have all the interviews completed by January 19th. Hopefully today Kevin and I can work on the best dates for us and get the interviews scheduled. The 4 interviews will take approximately five hours.

In talking with Leah, she was concerned that some of the paperwork that has been completed may need to be updated. For example our financial statement reports 2009 and 2008. It may now need to reflect 2010 and 2009. This would also mean a new employer letter. Both of these items are easy to get done. However, it may mean I will have to rush to get our tax return completed. I have contacted Jaime at CCAI to verify what needs to be done if anything.
