Yesterday, Kevin and I took off a half day to drive to Huntsville to finish the couple interviews for our home study. It was a lot of talking (2 1/2 hours). I was surprised that I had a voice since I don't talk that much. It went well.
We are waiting on my W-2 to finish the financial statement update that is required. Leah will get everything typed for the home study, but will not send it off till we provide the W-2.
There is an outstanding question regarding parent training. China requires 10 hours of parent training before we can accept a referral. So I did not start the training because we have a few years to get around to it. We may have to have it completed to meet Alabama requirements. I am waiting to hear back from Leah about this.
We are excited to have one more step behind us. Pray that Leah's schedule allows her to dedicate time to getting our home study completed fast.

Happy to hear that ya'll have the home study and all the questions behind you. The new arrival may still be months maybe years ahead but each day that passes and each task that you and Kevin complete brings our special blessing closer to us. We are looking forward to the day when we can hold that blessing watch her or them play. Be a part of seeing you and Kevin enjoy your daughter. Please know that we love you both.
