Pictures from MBHOH

I had previously posted about us learning the AK had spent all but 3 weeks of her life at Maria's Big House of Hope.  When Kevin made contact with them, they told us they would send us everything they had on AK.  We received this package in the mail.  It came as a surprise that day.  They had a cd of pictures of her, a craft project, a MBHOH t-shirt for AK, and some information on MBHOH.  I am so thankful that I have received such a treasure.  For 15 months of her life, we did not know where she was or what she was doing.  Since 2009 when we started our adoption process, I prayed for her birth mom and father that God would give them a peace on the sacrifice they would be making.  I prayed God would comfort them with a peace that she would be loved and taken care of through God's perfect plan.  I prayed for the nannies that were with her.  I prayed they would love and comfort her.  I prayed that AK would sense our love for her through their hands and words they spoke. 

So getting these wonderful pictures is such a wonderful blessing.  We can now see this missing puzzle piece.  We can see her grow up, her friends, her nannies, and where she was.  It is an amazing answered prayer.  Although I knew God was watching over her the first 15 months of her life, I have confirmation from these pictures. 

I also want to give MBHOH a huge THANK YOU!  Their ministry of caring for orphans is unlike what is typically thought of or known for orphan care.  I can see it by how healthy AK is mentally, developmentally, emotionally, and physically.  This organization truly loves these children and gives these orphans a temporary family until they are matched with their forever family.  I am indebted to you for what you have provided my daughter and so thankful to God that she was in your care.
