AK Hearing Test

This morning we went to get Anna Kate's hearing tested.  She did great at the doctor, not so much on the ride over.  They first checked to see if she had any fluid in her ears.  No issues here.  Then they checked her ear drum for vibrations.  Looked good.  Then they put this thing in her ear that made noise.  AK did amazing.  She played with this toy they had and never fussed.  For the last test, AK and I went in a room.  The doctor talked to her and made TVs light up and puppets appear to see if AK recognized where the sound was coming from.  She did great.  She laughed and thought it was fun.  The doctor did not find any issues with her ears.  This is great news.  We did not suspect any problems, but have heard many children from China have fluid in their ears and untreated ear infections which can cause hearing loss. 

Friday, AK will be put to sleep for an MRI.  They will be doing a pelvic and spinal MRI.  Please pray she handles the anesthesia well because I don't.  Also, pray that the doctors are able to make a diagnosis and be able to treat AK's cyst/mass.
